What AI tools look at
AI tools like ChatGPT read pages on the web. They look at:
- The business website
- The Google Business Profile, which is the Google page for your shop
- Reviews
- Yelp and other listings
- Whether the name, phone, hours, and services are the same in each place
If those facts do not match, the tool is more likely to name a different shop.
Steps you can take
- Add a page on your website. Say what you do and the city you serve.
- Fill in your Google Business Profile. Use the same name, phone, hours, and services as your website.
- Ask happy customers to leave a review.
- Open Yelp and other sites that list your shop. Make the name, phone, hours, and services match.
- Read them one more time. The facts should be the same in every place.
These steps do not force an AI tool to name you. They give the tool clear facts to read. Then you still have to check.
What no one can promise
No one can promise ChatGPT will name your business. No one can promise you will be number one. Ask the same question again, and the names can change.
