Someone asks AI for HVAC. Does your name come up?
People used to search Google. Now many ask ChatGPT who to hire. The answer is a few names. A free check shows if you are one of them, and who is named instead.
No card. One business. Most free checks arrive in a few minutes. If a check cannot run, a person emails you within 48 hours.
What people ask AI
They do not type a short keyword. They ask a full question. The Oct 2026 test used questions like these. It is not the monthly count.
- “What is the best HVAC company in your city?”
- “My AC stopped working tonight. Who should I call for emergency AC repair in your city?”
- “Recommend a reliable, well-reviewed heating and air conditioning contractor in your city, your state.”
Ask again, and the names often change. The Oct 2026 test counted one set of answers for HVAC. It is not the monthly count.
Oct 2026 test
In our Oct 2026 test of 12 AI answers per city and trade, we compared the Google Maps top 10 with ChatGPT and Gemini. A page is posted when at least half of those 10 were never named. These pages do not list shop names.

Why a good shop can get left out
AI reads your website, your Google listing, Yelp, and other sites. If the hours, phone, or services do not match, AI is more likely to name someone else.
When to check
Busy time for this trade, from our notes: Summer and winter peaks. Check what AI says before the phone starts to ring. That note is not a count.
What we do not do
We do not sell leads. We do not lock you into a contract. We do not promise you will be number one in ChatGPT. No one can. We show you what to fix. You or your agency make the changes. The monthly HVAC count is not posted. The Oct 2026 test is not a rank.
