People used to search Google. Now many ask ChatGPT who to hire. The answer is a few names. A free check shows if you are one of them, and who is named instead.

What people ask AI
They do not type a short keyword. They ask a full question. The Oct 2026 test used questions like these. It is not the monthly count.

- “Who should I call for emergency pest control company in your city?”
- “Recommend a reliable, well-reviewed pest control company in your city, your state.”
Ask again, and the names often change. The Oct 2026 test counted one set of answers for pest control. It is not the monthly count.
Oct 2026 test
In our Oct 2026 test of 12 AI answers per city and trade, we compared the Google Maps top 10 with ChatGPT and Gemini. A page is posted when at least half of those 10 were never named. These pages do not list shop names.
